Hello all.

Well we’ve been quite busy lately so really haven’t had a chance to do much on the website recently. But today we upgraded Wordpress and the theme, from the old Vigilance theme to Vigilance Pro.

We really like it, and customers contact us after reading it, so “if it’s not broken..” so although everybody else seems to be going Thesis 1.7 mad, we have decided we will be sticking with Vigilance for the foreseeable future.

Other news..

It would seem our offsite blog has basically no chance of ranking #1 for superior seo malta, except in “pages from Malta” where the competition is only 237 pages

We think once the Ibiza boys actually get on the case, their truly superior technology will be pretty hard to beat, especially now they’re firing up the superior seo video channel too.

Optimization for Yahoo & Windows Live

While we are in the 20’s on certain target searches on Google, look what’s happened on MSN Live & Yahoo in the last month, check the absolute alignment of the results in the green box.

We focus specifically on Google optimization for two reasons..

a) They now have approximately 73% of the search market

“Google’s share of the U.S. search market continues to grow according to Hitwise data released today. (PDF download) Google’s market share rose from 72.11% in February to 72.39% in March, while both Yahoo and Live Search saw declines. Year-over-year numbers are also in Google’s favor: It’s up 8% over March 2008, while Yahoo and Live Search are down 19% and 17%, respectively.”

b) Because when you build and optimize correctly for Google, MSN Live and Yahoo generally look after themselves, and particularly so when the site is structured correctly.

You can see from the results above, and what we invariably find is that Windows Live and Yahoo are more sensitive and react quickly than Google, and also act as reasonably accurate predictors of what is to come in Google in a month or two..
